Committee Meeting 6th March 2013

A committee meeting was held on Wednesday 6th March 2013.

The treasurer announced the sad death of Clive Evans who passed away on Monday 4th March 2013. He has spoken to the family and passed on a message of condolence on behalf of all members. Clive had been a member since the mid nineties and a committee member for many of those, he was also one of the clubs Safety Officers. His generousity and frienship will be sadly missed. There will be a private cremation on Monday 18th March, followed by a service of thanksgiving, for anyone who wishes to attend, to be held at St Mary's Church, Oldswinford, Stourbridge at 2.30pm.

Various routine administration was discussed and actioned. The new season will commence with a practice shoot, for all disciplines, on Saturday 20th April 2013. A complete list of shooting dates can been seen by clicking on Fixtures or by going to the Downloads & Links section.

The shooting fees will be held once more at last year's prices;

Sporting £10.00 for members and £11.50 for non members.

Skeet, DTL, ABT and Compact £5.00 for members and £6.00 for non members.

Setup day this year will be Saturday 13th April 2013 from 10.00am onwards. It is the intention to carry out general maintenance to the ground in order to prepare for the new season. In addition we will be repairing part of the driveway to the lower ground and therefore require as many willing pairs of hands as possible.

Membership is currently open and anyone interested in joining Kidderminster Gun Club should download the application form from the 'Downloads and Links' page, complete in full and bring along to the club on any Thursday evening during the season.
